A central milestone for the project was the in‑person technical meeting at TUM on 9 July 2025, during which the clinical partners from TUM-MED and MUG visited the laboratories and were introduced to the GLUMON sensor prototype for the first time. This meeting significantly strengthened the collaboration between technical and clinical teams by facilitating hands‑on demonstrations, detailed discussions regarding clinical workflows, and shared planning of the upcoming human studies.
Later, in October 2025, members of the HMGU technical team also visited TUM‑MED to inspect the designated measurement rooms and verify their suitability for conducting the GLUMON clinical study within the hospital environment. This site visit ensured that all spatial, infrastructural, and technical requirements were met, enabling seamless preparation for the subsequent clinical validation activities.
