Oct 10-12, 2025: FORSCHA

On the weekend of 10–12 October 2025, the FORSCHA (Münchner Wissenschaftstage), took place in Munich. This science communication fair was free of charge and lasted three days. The event targeted a broad audience, with special emphasis on non-scientific visitors and children. It was held at the emphasis on non-scientific public and kids. It was held at the Forum Schwanthalerhöhe.

The MunichImaging communication team prepared an exhibition booth showcasing our EU-funded projects, with a special focus on the coordinated ones such as GLUMON. Through engaging visual materials, we introduced visitors to GLUMON’s goals and its contribution to advancing biomedical imaging research. We had the opportunity to interact with a wide range of attendees, explaining how the project aims to push forward innovation in the field and the potential societal impact.

To support outreach, we distributed reusable cotton bags and paper notepads as giveaways, featuring the GLUMON project logo, the EU funding emblem, and a link to the IBMI website where the project is presented in more detail.

Over the three days of the fair, various members of MunichImaging — including researchers, project managers, and science communicators — were present at the booth. They actively engaged with visitors, answered questions, and shared insights into the GLUMON project and related research activities. It was a highly rewarding experience and a valuable opportunity to connect with the public.
