Helmholtz Munich and its Institute of Biological and Medical Imaging (IBMI, coordinator of GLUMON) took part in the 2025 edition of herCAREER on October 9–10.
herCAREER is Europe’s largest career and networking event of its kind. Held annually in Munich, the expo provides a unique platform for women and people of diverse genders to connect with employers, explore career opportunities, and find inspiration in a supportive yet professional setting. In addition to exhibition booths, the event featured dedicated networking formats, inspiring talks, and an innovative matching tool that connected participants and organizations based on their CVs.
IBMI was represented at the Helmholtz Munich stand, where several team members, including science managers, interacted with visitors over the two days. Our aim was to highlight career opportunities in bioengineering — a field offering diverse paths in both research and science management. We were delighted to meet many talented individuals who showed strong interest in our work and were keen to learn more about career prospects within our institute.
